In the event of severe weather it may be necessary to close campus buildings.
Should a closure be required the following methods of communication will be used to inform students and staff:
1. College Website
This website will be the main source of information, with updates being posted as soon as they become available. Link to closure information through the “Severe Weather” banner on the homepage.
We shall aim to make a decision to close by 7 am, with details being posted on the website at this time. Should there be a delay in making a decision, an announcement will be posted to explain that campuses are still being investigated and a decision will be made shortly.
2. Local Radio
Listen to Kingdom FM, Forth One or Tay FM – they will be informed of the closure as soon as confirmed.
We will continue to assess weather conditions throughout the day and make decisions accordingly. Details will be communicated through the methods above.
Please note, should there be a closure of this nature it will be classed as an authorised absence therefore student funding will not be affected.
