The Research Unit of Adam Smith College has been providing high-quality research and project management
support to Scotland's Colleges and their partners since 2004. The Unit enjoys close links with education services at all levels and works closely with colleges and key agencies to develop evidence-based practice and innovative approaches in the delivery of college services to learners.

Holding up the Mirror: raising awareness of behaviours that impede good tutor-student relationships.

This is the FERRN report (PDF 755 KB) of a collaborative research project in which students and staff in six member colleges identified behaviours that help or hinder good tutor-student relationships. The findings provide a vehicle for staff and students to reflect and discuss.
