Full-time study of a National Qualification (NQ ) course and other non-advanced courses requires you to attend College for a year, approximately 20 hours per week.
Full-time study of Higher National Certificate and Diploma (HNC/D) courses requires you to attend approximately 15 hours per week. HNC courses run for one year or as the first year of an HND. Full-time HND courses run for two years.
A short full-time course, in the main runs from September – January or February – June. It's the ideal solution for Christmas school leavers or those looking to get back into studying.

Looking to do something for a few hours or more that is just for you? Here at Adam Smith we offer a range of enjoyable courses that can fit around family, work and other commitments. Generally the classes are delivered in the evenings and include photography, flower arranging, guitar for beginners and more. We also deliver certificated courses on an evening attendance basis including counselling, computing, human resources (CIPD), youth work and accounting.
