Four students studying science related courses at Adam Smith College were recently presented with a scholarship in memory of Angela Stewart-Grant.

Angela was a science student who sadly died of bowel cancer in 1999, aged 23.
Kris Harris (19) from Cockburnspath, Lynsey Grant (19) from Leven, David Kenyon (38) from Glenrothes and Gordon Thomson (38) from Kirkcaldy where all presented with funds from The Angela Stewart-Grant Scholarship to enable them to purchase specialised equipment for their course work.
The presentation was made by John Whitelock, Department Manager and Ruth Yorkston, Science Technician and Assistant Principal Beth Dickson at the College’s St Brycedale Campus Kirkcaldy.
The Angela Stewart-Grant scholarship is part of an awards programme run by the Adam Smith Foundation, the Charitable Trust of Adam Smith College.
