Sean Nolan, Hairdresser to the stars and International Artistic Director for Burlingtons demonstrated his collection of emerging trends at this year’s Adam Smith College Hair Masterclass.
Hairdressers, salon owners and lecturers from across Scotland were wowed by his expertise at the sell out show which took place in the College’s St Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy.
Sean has worked in both the public and private sectors of the industry and his career path has led him to work creatively with the infamous Lady Sovereign and currently with Vanessa White from the Saturdays and Pixie Lott whilst being an ambassador for Goldwell.
The Masterclass was organised by Hairdressing Lecturer Dawn Hynd in conjunction with the Adam Smith College’s Hair and Beauty Artistic team who proved their skills as models on stage showcasing their fabulous ‘Natural Nudes’ themed showcase, inspired from London Fashion Week. Hair colours included muted tones of golden blondes, rich chestnut with subtle diffusion resulting in a tame but beautiful transformation of strength and style.
Christina Laing, Manager, Hair Beauty and Holistic Therapies at Adam Smith College said, “Once again we have been able to showcase the talents of the best of British Hairdressing to our local salons. This sell out show reflects the passion that local businesses have for their industry, many of whom came along to be inspired and see our guest artists and our artistic team create the latest looks for the season.
