Fed up spending Saturday mornings trudging around the shops or doing the ironing? Then why not brighten up your Saturdays and your CV with help from Adam Smith College?
The College offers a range of Saturday morning classes which could be just the spark you need to improve your skills and job prospects, build your confidence or meet new friends.
Audrey Crombie, 44, from Thornton did just that last year and recently graduated with an HNC in Administration and Information Technology after attending Saturday morning classes at the College’s Priory Campus in Kirkcaldy.
Said Audrey: “I wasn’t able to attend a course mid-week as it didn’t fit in with my work or family commitments. When the opportunity arose to study on a Saturday morning I grabbed it! My husband, who is self employed, was able to look after our young son while I studied so it was ideal. Not only did I improve my qualifications but the Saturday morning classes also helped me to secure a full-time job at the College which I love!”
Courses available on a Saturday morning include, HNC/D Administration and Information Technology, HNC/D Business and HNC Legal Services. To make things even easier all courses can be applied for online through the College website.
