School pupils in Fife now have a better idea of which career path to take next thanks to a careers event hosted by Adam Smith College at their St Brycedale Campus in Kirkcaldy.
High School pupils give the thumbs up to the new Adam Smith College prospectus.
The successful event was attended by over 200 school pupils who were keen to benefit from the information provided by a wealth of universities, colleges, the armed forces, training providers and employers.
At the event the College launched their new smaller size prospectus which was extremely well received by the high school pupils. The new style prospectus can be viewed on the College website and a special CD ROM format is also available which includes exclusive highlights of the College and its facilities.
Staff from Adam Smith College attending the event advised pupils to apply quickly for places as applications are up by 2,500 compared to this time last year.
Sandra Rhodes, Director of Information Management at Adam Smith College said: “We were very pleased to once again host the Kirkcaldy Schools’ Careers Event which was very well attended and coincided with the launch of our new prospectus.
“Applications for our courses are coming in fast and furious and so to avoid disappointment it is vital that those interested in coming to College apply now. Applying for a course is easy thanks to our online option which is proving very popular with 50% of those applying for a course choosing the online method.
“Events such at the Kirkcaldy Schools’ Careers Event, alongside our new prospectus and Open Days planned for March, play an important role in helping pupils and others looking to come to College plan their next step.”
