Adult Programmes

SCQF Level 2 - 4

The course is for adults with additional support needs or who may require assistance to improve their life skills. There is also the opportunity to build confidence in practical skills, core skills and independent living.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time (3 days per week) or Part-time – up to 12 hours per week

Entry Requirements

Entry will be determined through successful personal interview with the Curriculum Head for the programme. Where Social Work Day Centres or Care Homes are involved, students should discuss the programme with their Key Worker before applying.

Further Study

On completion of this programme students may move on to General Skills or Adult Programmes (part-time).

Career Opportunities

The programme is intended to allow students to develop new skills and interests, which could prepare them for supported employment.
