Digital Stories

This course shows you how to capture your photos and create a movie of your still images, complete with music, movement and narration. You will learn how to add text, images, music and speech to a presentation - along with how to animate and add transition to your images - allowing a story to flow.

Along the way you will learn how to scan photos, modify them, add text, record speech and insert music. At the end of this course you will "burn" your story on to a CD-ROM or DVD.

Software used: Microsoft Photo Story 3, Windows Media Player and Picasso 3.

  • Transferring images from your digital camera
  • Modify and manipulate images
  • Record speech, add music
  • Use animation and transitions
  • Transferring using a USB cable and/or memory card reader
