Customised Courses - Training courses can be devised to suit the needs of employers - the number of days would depend on your existing level of knowledge. Training can take place at College or in the workplace.
Day/Evening Classes - Alternatively you may wish to consider attending our classes. We have classes running at a variety of times during the day and evening.
Flexible Learning with Your Own PC or Access to a College PC - You will be given a student workbook, which describes in detail how to carry out each task, you will then carry out a series of tasks. A tutor will be assigned to you at induction to offer support by email/telephone or in person.

The Advanced modules are suitable for anyone who has already undertaken ECDL or those who wish to learn more about the advanced tools within the Microsoft Office Suite. The modules can be studied individually or you can choose to do more than one or the full set of four to enhance your IT skills.
Who are the Modules for?
On completion of this module you will know how to prepare a presentation appropriate to the target audience using advanced features such as multimedia, hyperlinks and graphics.
Presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint)
Using Microsoft Access you will create advanced queries, link forms, produce calculated reports, import and export data into a variety of formats and record macros.
Databases (Microsoft Access)
Learn how to use the advanced tools within Microsoft Excel enabling you to edit, manipulate and interpret numeric data, as well as formatting and sorting, querying data. Also learn how to use functions for statistical or mathematical operations which are useful when you are analysing the data contained in the spreadsheet.
Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
You will learn how to use the advanced tools within Microsoft Word enabling you to produce word processing documents, illustrating a wide range of styles, fonts formats and layouts. This module also covers how to insert graphics, tables and even how to integrate databases to produce mail merge letters.
