Basic Skills

SCQF Level 1 - 2

This course is for school leavers with additional support needs. It provides students with a wide variety of learning experiences aimed at developing confidence and independence, as well as teamwork and social skills.

Duration and Attendance

One or Two Years, Full-time or Part-time (3 days per week)

Entry Requirements

Suitability for the programme/level will be by recommendation from school/Careers service and interview with College Curriculum Head.

Further Study

On completion of the programme students can move onto General Skills or Adult programmes.
