General Skills

SCQF Level 2 - 3

Year 1

This programme gives school leavers the chance to build confidence, develop social skills and gain SQA units in Core and Practical subjects. Students are encouraged to progress in a well equipped practical environment.

Year 2

This programme is intended to allow students who have completed Year 1 to build on this knowledge and experience by moving on to a second year. Students may also be given the opportunity of work experience as part of this programme.

One or Two Years Full-time (3 days per week)

Entry Requirements

Year 1

Entry will be determined through successful personal interview with the Curriculum Head for the programme and suitable recommendation from school or careers.

Year 2

Entry is by interview with the Curriculum Head who will assess suitability for continuing on the programme.
