HNC Manufacturing Engineering

This is an advanced level course which will equip you with a wide variety of skills and knowledge you will need if you are looking ahead to employment in the Manufacturing industry.

Duration and Attendance

Two Years Part-time – One day per week

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 2 Highers and 2 Standard Grades ideally in Maths and a Science subject
  • Relevant NQ course
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis by interview

Further Study

Successful students can use this HNC qualification to progress onto a degree programme of study.

Provides the underpinning knowledge for a Modern Apprenticeship, and equips potential Technicians with the skills to undertake various roles in design, manufacture or services, in a wide range of industries.
