This course provides you with the knowledge and understanding of the Shipbuilding and Naval Architecture principles required to further a challenging and rewarding career in Shipbuilding, Ship Repair and naval Architecture.

  • Shipbuilding: Graded Unit

Two Years Day Release

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • Relevant NC qualification (Fabrication/Welding, Naval Architecture 1 and 2)
  • 3 Standard Grades at 3 or above in Mathematics, Physics/Science subject, English
  • Industrial qualifications and or experience will be considered on an individual basis

Further Study

  • Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
  • Degree in Ship Science
