HND Additional Support Needs: Managing and Supporting the Services
This course is designed for those who are working within the area of Additional Support Needs and wish to undertake further professional development. It is also for those who are considering entering this field and have previously achieved a related HNC award (or equivalent). It provides a progression route to the BA Learning Difficulities/Disabilities.

- Other optional subjects will form part of this programme
Work Experience
Students will undertake practical workplace experience on placement for two days per week.
Duration and Attendance
Entry Requirements
One of the following:
- HNC Early Education and Childcare
- HNC Supporting Learning Needs
- HNC Additional Support Needs
- HNC Social Care
AND
- Attendance at group information session
- Students must also be accepted as a PVG scheme member through the College system. Placements cannot be started without this (see Disclosure Scotland for more information about the Protection of Vulnerable Groups)
