This course will give you an insight into the business world. It covers a wide range of business and management subjects. You will gain a detailed understanding of the purpose, function and operation of business organisations to help you fulfil your professional potential. This course will enable you to develop your business strategy.

Duration and Attendance

  • HNC – One Year Full-time or Two Years Part-time
  • HND – Two Years Full-time or Three Years Part-time

This course is offered as a one year HNC or two year HND. Entry requirements are the same for both.

Also available through Saturday morning accelerated learning with flexible home study (minimum one calendar year).

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 1 Higher from the following: English, Business Management, Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Modern Studies or Economics and 4 relevant Standard Grades at Grade 2 or above
  • NC Business 5 with Level 6 options preferred
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

Further Study

  • 3rd Year BA Business Administration, Adam Smith College
  • 3rd Year BA Business Studies, Adam Smith College
  • Progression to Napier University and the University of Abertay Dundee
