HND Computing: Software Development

SCQF Level 8

This course has been designed to address the demand for skills in developing technologies in Internet based and mobile computing software development and the associated issues of security and computer ethics. If you have an interest in computer programming and website development this course will give you the opportunity to study them in depth.

You will learn about the development of computer software projects from conception to completion and you will develop advanced skills in project management, object orientated programming techniques, along with database design and programming, web scripting and mobile application development.

An essential aspect of this course is computer programming and applicants will be assessed for suitability prior to joining the course.
