Higher Mental Health Care
This is a new course for Mental Health workers (including Carers, Volunteers and service users). It is suitable if you are already working or volunteering in the Mental Health field. No previous qualifications are required but you will need an awareness of this area of work and an understanding of the issues involved. You will study subjects such as working with people with mental health problems, legislation, the Mental Health service and care planning. This course is flexible, with learning supported by packs, tutorials and small study groups in the evening.
