Life Drawing
This course is suitable for higher art students or those who have attended a variety of art classes and who wish to improve their drawing skills. An opportunity to draw from life using professional Life Models.
The course aims to improve the learner with knowledge, skills, and experience of drawing and provide you with the opportunity to develop a range of life drawings which include short poses and long poses, tonal work etc.
Students will need a putty rubber, charcoal, hairspray/fixative and any art materials they may want to use.
What You Study
- Series of Life Drawings
- Exercises from direct line drawing
- Tonal work
- Short poses and long poses
- Blind drawings, and continuous movement
On completion, the learner should have a greater knowledge, understanding and confidence of drawing the body in different poses.

Evenings
September - 17 weeks x 2 hours
February - 17 weeks x 2 hours
Entry Requirements
This course is not suitable for complete beginners. Students must be aged 18 years and over, or in 6th year building art portfolio.
