SCQF Level 5

This Business award at Level 5 is a 12 credit group award designed as a flexible and business orientated programme. Its aim is to provide candidates with a range of business skills and understanding to work in all business sectors. There are a range of specialisms which provide specific knowledge and skill requirements – see optional clusters below. Successful completion of this programme will put candidates in a stronger position to progress to the next stage of their career or to progress to higher national level study.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 4 Standard Grades at Level 3 or above
  • NC Business Level 4
  • 12 modules at Intermediate 1 which include Communication
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
