If you want to become a Junior Stylist, this course is the perfect springboard for your future career. Over two years, you will learn all aspects of salon work from styling to reception and health and safety skills, gaining heaps of practical experience in our modern salons. This course offers progression from VTCT Skills for Working in the Hair and Beauty Industry. You need to have a reasonable level of Numeracy and English, be good with your hands and enjoy meeting and working with people.
You will be required to purchase hairdressing equipment.
Some classes may be in the evening, please ensure you have appropriate travel arrangements.

Duration and Attendance
Two Years Full-time
Please note: some classes may be held in twilight/evening sessions to fully utilise our Salon accommodation. Timetables will be issued prior to the course commencing.
Entry Requirements
- Successful applicants will have manual dexterity and will need to complete a skills test and interview questionnaire
- 3 Standard Grades at Grade 4 or above
- Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
