Work Experience
Practical experience within a care setting (one week block placement and one day per week placement for fifteen weeks) enables students to develop practical, interpersonal and decision-making skills. No work experience placement can be organised until a criminal record check is carried out by Disclosure Scotland and a satisfactory report has been received.
Duration and Attendance
Entry Requirements
One of the following:
- 4 Standard Grades at Credit level
- Pre-access to Nursing and Care
- Intro to Early Education and Childcare
- Care experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
AND
- Attendance at group information session
