NC Sport and Fitness Higher

SCQF Level 6

This course will prepare you to access HN Level courses. Your units are delivered mainly at Higher Level within both Sport and Fitness topics therefore providing you with a pathway into Sports Coaching or Fitness, Health and Exercise.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 7 Standard Grades to include Information Technology, English and either Biology or Physical Education at Grade 2 or above (Credit level) or Intermediate 2 at Grade C or above
  • Pass a Sport and Fitness related course at Level 5 (14 specified credits)

AND

  • Attendance at group information session
  • Reference to support your application
  • Students must also be accepted as a PVG scheme member through the College system. Placements cannot be started without this (see Disclosure Scotland for more information about the Protection of Vulnerable Groups)
