NQ Intermediate 1 and 2 Catering

SCQF Level 4

During this programme, you will practice food production techniques in the kitchen as well as gaining good customer service skills in the Training Restaurant. This course also provides an excellent foundation if you are taking your first steps towards a rewarding career in the Hospitality industry.

One Year Full-time

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 4 Standard Grades at Grade 5 or above
  • SVQ Level 1 Hospitality: Food Preparation and Cooking
  • NQ Introduction to Catering and Hospitality to include 12 SQA units, 4 of which must be at Intermediate 1
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
