NQ Intermediate 1 and 2 Motor Vehicle Engineering

SCQF Level 4

This course will give you a good grounding for working with vehicles and engines and is an excellent way to start your career in the automotive industry. A keen interest in the subject and some work experience would be advantageous.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time – Three days per week

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 3 Standard Grades at Grade 4 or above in English, Maths and a Science subject, preferably Physics
  • Industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

Please note all students will be required to complete an aptitude test and successful interview.

Further Study

Completion of NQ could lead to a VRQ Level 1
