NQ Intermediate 1 and 2 Working with People

SCQF Level 4

Working with People is aimed at adults and young people who wish to enter or return to education but may have few formal educational qualifications. The course will introduce students to the skills and qualities in vocational areas such as Hairdressing, Beauty, Care or the Service Industries.

Entry Requirements

Applicants will be interviewed by the Curriculum Head for the programme and complete a Personal Learning Support Plan to determine their support requirements when attending the course.

Prospective students can be referred through the Job Centre, Careers or make an individual application. Students who are still attending school will need to make an application through their guidance teacher; a school transition form will be essential in this case.

Students considering this programme should be working at Access 3 in Communication and Numeracy or equivalent.

Further Study

Students may articulate to other College courses or employment.
