SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care

SCQF Level 5

This Level 2 SVQ is accepted for registration with the SSSC at support worker level for those working in Health and/or Social Care settings. If undertaking this course full-time, you will spend approximately two days a week in college and three days in relevant work experience. This course can also be completed on a part-time basis.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time

Entry Requirements

One of the following:

  • 4 Standard Grades including English at Grade 3 or above
  • Intermediate 1 Care
  • Care experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

AND

In the case of part-time completion, you must be working as a support worker in a relevant Health and Social Care setting and the approval of your employer will be a pre-requisite.
