Performing Engineering Operations Fabrication and Welding Modern Apprenticeship
We work closely with a diverse range of engineering and manufacturing employers across Fife to provide Modern Apprenticeships. MAs are designed to attract people to the engineering industry, equipping them with the high level skills and knowledge needed for employment within the sector.
The diverse nature of the engineering sector opens up a number of employment opportunities in differing occupations. The programme provides structured training throughout the apprenticeship while working for a company and earning whilst learning.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship will lead to nationally recognised qualifications and candidates will achieve SVQ levels 2 and 3 for the practical aspects of the programme and National/Higher National Certificates for day release study. A certificate of Modern Apprenticeship will be awarded when all components of the training have been achieved.
The opportunity of earning whilst learning, following a SEMTA Modern Apprenticeship becomes available around July/August each year, we need to hear from you much sooner than that, so act now!
If you have the drive and enthusiasm for a career in engineering, get in touch with us, it could be the best move you'll ever make.
