SVQ Level 3 Children's Care Learning and Development
SCQF Level 6 - 7
This Level 3 SVQ is accepted for registration with the SSSC at practitioner level.
If undertaking this course full-time, you will spend approximately two days a week in College and three days in relevant workplace settings. This course can also be completed as a part-time course with College classes once a week in the evening. In the case of part-time completion, you must be working in a relevant setting and the approval of your employer will be a pre-requisite.

Entry Requirements
All applicants will be interviewed for this course. A written exercise will form part of this interview. All candidates will be required to demonstrate oral and written communication skills at SCQF Level 5. An acceptable Disclosure Scotland check is also mandatory.
One of following is required:
- 5 Standard Grades including English at Grade 3 or above
- NC Early Education and Childcare
- Relevant work experience within the Care sector or alternative qualifications will be considered on an individual basis. Evidence will be required in the form of a reference and/or certificates
