SVQ Level 3 Playwork
This Level 3 SVQ is accepted for registration with the SSSC for practitioners working in Playwork settings (e.g. after school clubs, creches). Obtaining the qualification is dependant upon demonstrating competence at an appropriate level in the workplace. Accordingly, the approval of your employer is required.
The course is completed as a part-time course with College classes once a week. You must be working in a relevant setting and the approval of your employer will be a pre-requisite.

Topics of relevance to Childcare and Playwork, including creating a safe environment and planning and managing activities.
Duration and Attendance
Entry Requirements
- You must be working in a Playwork setting as a practitioner and have a minimum of six months experience
- All applicants will be interviewed for this course. A written exercise will form part of this interview. All candidates will be required to demonstrate oral and written communication skills at SCQF Level 6
